A blue badge means we confirmed who runs the profile. It is for well-known people and organizations, and for anyone whose name or identity is used by others.
Who it is for
Celebrities, public figures, and people who are widely known by name can ask us to confirm that this is their account.
If someone else is using your name, or you run a profile that shares a well-known identity, verification makes it clear who actually uses this profile.
This applies to individuals and to official accounts for companies, teams, schools, and other organizations.
How it works
Send a request from the account you want verified. We review who you are and who operates the profile. The badge is not a ranking and it is not sold.
