Be 13 or older

Amaplace is for people 13 and up. If you are under 13, do not create an account. Do not engage with an account you believe belongs to someone under 13. We remove those accounts when we learn of them.

Asking and answering with care

Questions can be public or anonymous. Anonymous does not mean consequence-free. Do not use it to threaten, sexualize, or pile on someone. Recipients can ignore, delete, or leave questions unanswered.

Think before you answer in public. Answers on a public profile and in Stream can be copied and shared outside Amaplace.

What we do not allow

We remove content and accounts that involve:

  • Sexual content involving anyone 17 or under
  • Credible threats, stalking, or incitement to violence
  • Hate targeting people for who they are
  • Sharing someone's private photos, address, or other personal data without consent
  • Scams, malware, or impersonation

If you need help

If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Amaplace cannot dispatch help.

We remove content and accounts that break the rules on this page. For a quieter experience, make your account private, turn off anonymous questions, or hide your answers from Stream in Settings.

Mental health

If you are in crisis, talk to someone who can help in real life. In the United States you can call or text 988. In other countries, find a local helpline through the IASP directory at iasp.info/suicidalthoughts.
